Bring the dog
The villa has its own private courtyard with a grassy area, an outdoor shower for sandy paws, and direct access to Killick Creek Reserve right out the back. After a salty morning at the beach, there's nowhere better to rinse off and stretch out in the sun.
The house rules, kept simple
We ask that dogs are kept outside, off the carpets and off the furniture. The courtyard is theirs — the rammed earth keeps it cool through summer, and there's plenty of shade. Bring a bed, a bowl, and whatever else makes them feel at home, and let us know they're coming when you book so we can have everything ready for you both.
Where to walk them
Crescent Head is a brilliant town for dogs. Killick Beach (north of the headland) is leash-free between Killick Creek and the second creek crossing - long, flat sand and easy waves for a swim. Killick Creek lagoon is right at your doorstep for a paddle. The headland walking track loops around with views over the Point Break - leashed dogs welcome. For a longer adventure, Goolawah National Park to the south has quiet beaches almost all to yourselves.
Who Fishers suits
Couples slipping away for a long weekend. Families with kids and a dog or two. Friends meeting up for a surf trip. Grandparents with the grandkids in the bunk room.
Two ensuited queen bedrooms upstairs, a bunk room sleeping up to six downstairs, and a courtyard built for slow afternoons - Fishers is a place to settle in, not just sleep. With or without four legs.
